There is a moment when music stops being something you simply listen to and becomes an experience. Opera Gourmet was born precisely there — from our idea of changing the way opera is perceived: no longer distant, formal, or reserved for a few, but alive, accessible, and surprising.
We are not a performance, and we are not simply a dinner. We are an experiential format that brings together opera, fine dining, and storytelling into a coherent narrative designed to engage all the senses.
We know that opera is often perceived as complex and difficult to understand. That is why we chose to overturn this perception by creating “opera capsules”: short, intense, and engaging moments in which selected arias are performed live and accompanied by storytelling that guides even those approaching this world for the very first time. As highlighted in our presentation, our goal is to make opera more accessible and bring it beyond traditional settings, transforming it into a contemporary experience.
Alongside the music, food becomes an integral part of the narrative. We design each event around a tailor-made menu, where every dish interacts with the music, the characters, and the emotions of the performed arias. This is not simply a gastronomic proposal, but a journey in which taste and listening naturally intertwine.
